FR-8010 is Decabromodiphenyl Ethane (DBDPE). It is brominated flame retardant containing a high level of aromatic bromine with very good thermal stability widely used in polyolefins, polystyrenes, polyamides and elastomers.
FR-8010 is an effective flame retardant containing a high level of aromatic bromine with very good thermal stability widely used in polyolefins, polystyrenes, polyamides and elastomers. Its high bromine content makes it suitable for high temperature applications such as wire & cable, electrical box covers, electronic housing and heat insulation materials. FR-8010 imparts good UV resistance with low blooming characteristics making it suitable for use in many applications requiring color stability. It has good synergistic effect with antimony trioxide (Sb2O3) for maximum flame performance to meet Underwriters Laboratories (UL) 94 V-0 and V-2 rating.
