The aromatic structure preserved in the C9 petroleum resin makes it compatible with a variety of polymeric material such as alkyd resins, epoxy resins, phenolic resins, polyester resins, drying oils, ethylene vinyl acetate copolymers, styrene butadiene rubber and polychloroprene rubber.
